Alliance
An Invitation to Join Us …
Founded in 1986, the Alliance is an integral part of the operation of this historic estate. Most members are volunteers who act as tour guides, nature trail interpreters, event hosts, clerical and curatorial assistants and educators for Broward County school children as well as adults.
The Alliance also raises funds and increases public awareness through a variety of programs and social events. These funds help support specific preservation and conservation needs of Bonet House.
Five annual general membership meetings provide a chance to meet fellow Alliance members and enjoy camaraderie.
Memories of Evelyn Bartlett, (who donated the Property to the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation), and her strong desire to preserve the Estate as she left it, motivate the Alliance to dedicated and committed volunteer service.
