Tours of the Main House and specialized tours of the grounds are available to groups of 15 or more.
Your group is cordially invited to select a special tour of Bonnet House. These tour options are detailed below. Please note the minimum number of Guests for each tour.

Frederic Clay Bartlett designed and built Bonnet House as a winter retreat for his family. This historic house the only home and studio of two American artists open to the public. A docent - guided tour will lead you through the rooms of the Main House where you will learn the history of the Birch/Bartlett family and discover the charm and whimsy of this beachfront estate.
Allow an extra 1/2 hour for a self guided walking tour of the grounds. |

Following a guided tour of the Main House, a Nature Trail Driver will take you on a 15 minute ride around the trail. The Driver will share information about the plants, animals and ecosystems of this 35-acre coastal wilderness. |

Following a guided tour of the Main House, a docent will lead you on a walking tour of the Nature Trail describing the various species of native and landscaped plants. Docents will focus on the plantings done by Hugh Taylor Birch, and the landscaping created by his son-in-law Frederic Clay Bartlett. You will tour through palm-lined allees, past a stone fountain, a desert garden, and more. |

Garden Walk & Tea |

Robert Haehle, author and gardening columnist with the Sun Sentinel, will lead you on a walking tour of the grounds of this 35-acre estate. Haehle will identify the native and landscaped vegetation as you pass a mangrove swamp, tropical fruit grove and coastal hammock. Following the tour, coffee and hot tea or lemonade and iced tea will be served.

This tour combines Option #1 with Option #3. A docent-guided tour is given of the Main House, with a break for refreshments. Author and garden columnist Robert Haehle will then lead a walking tour of the grounds.
