Impressions is an annual juried art competition with a lavish opening reception that includes fine food, fine wines and fine friends amid the Old Florida Charm of Bonnet House.
Concerts Under the Stars
Enjoy live performances on the beautiful Bonnet House Veranda with complimentary wine, canapes, coffee and dessert. These magical evenings take place once a month on Thursday evenings January through April of each year.

July 28 & 29, 2012 - Orchid Culture, Including Basic Repotting & Mounting Demonstrations
Demonstrations will be given on basic repotting of different types of orchids and mounting orchids on items such as tree fern, cork bark, grapevine or cypress. Common questions like what size/type of pot or basket to use; what type of potting media is best; what do I use to attach an orchid to a mount and how to water after mounted will be addressed.
Aug 25 & 26, 2012 - Orchid Culture, Including Advanced Repotting Demonstrations
Got an orchid climbing out of its pot and don’t know where to begin? Let us show you how to tackle that monster! Learn how often an orchid should be repotted, how to divide an orchid, about different potting medias and the proper type of pot or basket to use.
Sept 22 & 23, 2012 - Orchid Culture, Including Advanced Mounting Demonstrations
Students will learn how to mount orchids on tree fern, cork bark and grapevine and how to naturalize orchids in their landscaping. Common questions like what orchids do best on mounts; what do I use to attach the orchid to the mount; how to water after they are mounted and what to do when an orchid starts to overgrow it’s mount will be addressed.
