Adult Classes at Bonnet House

By March 11, 2021Uncategorized

With 2021 off to a great start, Bonnet House is already looking ahead to the future by offering a variety of interesting classes for adults. Our popular classes explore fascinating topics that
range from watercolor painting to the art of auctions. These classes all include knowledgeable instructors and provide you with the information you will need to succeed in each medium.

On Saturday, March 13th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Bonnet House will be hosting our Watercolor Mini Workshop 2 covering glazes and underglazes. Students will be able to work with a series of
experiments and paint their own unique creations by using layers of glazes to enhance the colors. The instructor will teach the class using a slide show presentation, showcase examples
of finished artwork, and demonstrate appropriate techniques. Registration is $70 for Bonnet House members and $80 for non-members. Click here to register for this popular class.

On Thursday, March 25th, from 12 pm to 1 pm, we will also be featuring a free, members-only Lunch & Learn hosted by Christie’s, one of the world’s premier auction houses handling the sales
of fine and decorative arts, jewelry, photographs, collectibles, wine, and more. Tash Perrin, Deputy Chairman and Head of Auctioneering at Christie’s, will be hosting a Zoom-based webinar
to discuss Christie’s and the exciting world of auctions. She will conclude her presentation with information about the April 1st, 2021 Art of the Islamic and Indian World Auction that includes
the Bonnet House Qajar painting, and how to watch this important sale online. To register, click here.
