DESCRIPTION:In Partnership with the Museum of Discovery Science and Broward Museum Alliance – Xavier Riddle Collaborative \nJoin Xavier and travel back to 1885 to retrace the steps of the Barefoot Mailman’s postal delivery service through the historic Bonnet House hardwood hammock. Locate the House of Refuge then snap your Photo with Xavier. A special prize will be waiting when you’re done! \nJoin us on Saturday\, January 18th for family-friendly activities like Native Plant leaf rubbings and an activity called “What did the Barefoot Mailman See?” To deliver mail\, he traveled 80 miles by foot and 56 by boat to complete the 136-mile round trip between Jupiter and Miami. \nFood Trucks will also be on site.
