It’s that time of year again! After October ends, it’s time to start focusing on the festivities of the
holiday season. Here at Bonnet House, we are already preparing to celebrate the holiday
season in grand fashion. But it’s not just the holidays that are worth celebrating this year.
Starting in December, Bonnet House Museum & Gardens will begin celebrating our 100th
anniversary! Our official kickoff will commence with our Holiday Magic event series December
6-13, 2019 and will continue with various events throughout 2020.
Beginning on December 6th, 2019, Bonnet House will be hosting our third annual fundraising
event that begins with a fully catered Soiree and exclusive VIP reception, followed by a full week
of festivities that will be fun for the whole family. The festivities will kick off on December 6th with
a classy, holiday Soiree on the veranda. This fantastic event will be catered by Alexander Event
Catering and will feature live entertainment as well as a full bar. Guests will have the opportunity
to see Bonnet House sparkle like never before while celebrating the holiday season and Bonnet
House’s 100-year legacy. This year, we are offering tickets to our Holiday Soiree (6:30pm –
9:30pm) for $75 per person, and our VIP Reception (5:30pm – 9:30pm) for $100 per person
(includes admission to the Holiday Soiree as well). This event typically sells out, so be sure to
buy your tickets early!
As part of the Holiday Magic Christmas festivities, Bonnet House will also be open for
self-guided evening tours on December 7th, 8th, and 11th-13th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. A team
of talented designers will decorate trees, wreaths and centerpieces that will adorn the estate
and be on sale throughout the week. We will have something exciting each night for adults and
kids alike, from Santa and his elves, to strolling carolers to Christmas storytelling and even a
Whimsical Wonderland evening. In honor of our 100th Anniversary, we will be offering holiday
cheer during each evening tour which will include general admission to the house and two drink
tickets. Performers include the Pride Jazz Ensemble , on Saturday, December 7th, the Broward
Center Spotlights on Sunday, December 8th, the Dillard Jazz Trio on Wednesday, December
11th, the Yuletide Carolers on Thursday, December 12th, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of South
Florida on Friday December 13th. Last year, this celebration was a tremendous success with a
