If you want to learn to paint, watercolor is a relatively inexpensive and rewarding way to begin. Watercolor theories and techniques are applicable to all painting mediums, but unlike other mediums, such as oil and acrylic, it is readily portable, clean up is quick, and easy (just use water!), and it’s nontoxic.

Embark on a creative adventure by joining fine artist, Barbara DiMartini, for this exciting, informative, 3-day, 9-hour workshop.

Glazes and Under-glazes.  An underglaze can make colors brighter, and it sometimes shortens painting time.  (a glaze:  a layer of transparent color).  Students will work with a series of experiments and then paint fruit leaves and/or work from imagination, using layers of glazes.  Instructor will provide a slide show, examples of finished artwork, and a demo.
