DISCOVER CULTURAL TREASURES IN YOUR BACKYARD!

September is Broward Attractions and Museums Month (BAMM), which encourages visitors to experience the diversity of cultural treasures throughout Broward County. During September, visitors may buy one admission and get a second admission for free to 13 participating museums and attractions in Broward County, while seven additional museums offer free admission, as part of the BAMM promotion.

Adventures await you right outside your door! Discover new artists or ancient artifacts, ride on a riverboat or an airboat, explore a botanical garden and historic house or feed a flamingo…and so much more.

 Visitors just need to mention “BAMM” or inquire about the offer at the facility’s ticket booth to purchase one regular price admission and get a second admission of equal or lesser value for free. (Some organizations may offer the discount online using BAMM as the promotional code.)

Participating organizations may have additional restrictions or blackout dates that apply, as well as additional discounted offers available. No other offers, discounts or coupons may apply. Visitors should check each attraction’s website or call for details, hours of operation, and other updates before visiting.

2022 Summer Family Special At Bonnet House

It may be hard to believe, but summer is right around the corner! If you’re like many others, you’re probably starting to think about fun things to do this summer. Whether you’re planning activities for your kids, your friends, or even just for yourself, Bonnet House is the perfect place to explore this summer.

Our 35-acre estate contains a Main House which features a whimsical collection of decorative and fine art, as well as a nature trail that is perfectly suited for families. While visiting, you are more than welcome to enjoy walking a one-way route around the beautiful Main House and taking a self-guided tour through our expansive gardens. To give our guests an optimal experience, we have developed audio recordings that can be accessed from mobile devices as you walk through our estate. This artful and educational audio tour features information about each room, significant items from the collection, and the families responsible for the estate’s creation.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the great things you can see and do at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. Beginning on June 1st and lasting through September 4th, Bonnet House will be hosting our annual Family Summer Special. This special deal includes $20.00 admission rates for adults and free admission for anyone 17 and under. This is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to experience what life was like on a beachfront estate in the 1930s and 1940s while learning about the historic and ecological significance of the property.

The Family Summer Special is available Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and tickets can be purchased at the Welcome Center. To learn more about the Family Summer Special, click here.

Family Summer Special

May 27th through August 31st, Bonnet House is proud to host our Family Summer Special! This special deal includes $25 admission for adults and adds free admission for anyone 17 and under. Guests will not only be able to take a self-guided tour of our main house, but they can also enjoy our vast gardens and view the aquatic wildlife in our lakes and ponds.

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is the perfect place to bring your family outdoors this summer. With free admission for the kids, you and the whole family can spend a beautiful day learning about the historical and ecological significance of South Florida without breaking the bank. We hope to see you and your family at Bonnet House this summer.

We are open Tuesday through Friday 11 am – 3 pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 4 pm, and tickets can be purchased at the Welcome Center.

Admission is $25 for adults and free for youth 17 and under (must be accompanied by an adult).

These tours are self-guided using your mobile device. No other discounts apply. This special only applies to self-guided tours during the hours listed above.

Broward Attractions and Museums Month (BAMM) kicks off June 1. Discover 16 local museums, unique attractions and cultural centers for the price of one membership.  During the month of June members of any one of the 16 cultural institutions in Broward County, and South Palm Beach County, receive free general admission to all participating venues.

JOIN ONE, EXPERIENCE THEM ALL!

Let the adventure begin.  Discover what awaits you right outside your door.  Each attraction or museum offers an experience for all ages.  Spend an evening enjoying a movie at Cinema Paradiso; discover some of Boca Raton’s History at the Boca Raton Historical Society; play and learn at The Boca Raton Children’s Museum; explore the historic house and grounds at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens; learn all about fish at IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame or trek out and celebrate Seminole Indian Traditions at Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum… and so much more.

Current and new members of these museums and attractions will receive free entry with proof of membership. Special events may not be included.  Experience diverse cultural treasures in Broward County and Boca Raton.
