Bonnet House Lecture Series

February 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE AREA In the 1930s & 1940s

The times before and after WW II saw major changes in South Florida. Even Bonnet House, the remote winter estate of the Birch and Bartlett families, was effected. The region went from being a primarily agricultural community to a booming area full of servicemen in training.  The depression, war production, rationing, the threat of German aggression and the huge influx of servicemen and their families greatly changed the landscape.

Free for members / $5 Non-members. Registration Required. (All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable)
