Colored Pencil Drawing Class – “Intro to a Pet Portrait” (This class is for intermediate and advanced students)

Students will learn how to:
– Gain confidence in capturing a likeness
– Gain confidence in drawing portraits in colored pencil
– Master how to “whisper” and “scream” with your colored pencils
– Draw realistic, expressive eyes with loads of depth
– Learn to layer all kinds of color without worrying about getting “mud”
– Understand how to simplify without losing realism
The instructor will provide:
– Reference Photo
– Basic line drawing
– Colored pencil Stonehenge white paper
– Fixative for final
