Step into a tropical oasis, enveloped by the nurturing embrace of nature’s beauty, as you flow gently through a Yoga experience for all, harmonized with a symphony of global melodies.

In this serene journey, yoga postures gracefully intertwine through a sequence of movements, enhancing your flexibility and mobility while centering your breath in harmony with motion. This sacred practice cultivates stability, strength, coordination, balance, observation, and awareness, inviting a profound connection with the natural world.

The experience culminates in a guided relaxation, an aromatherapy refresher, and a soothing sound bath meditation with a healing instrument, leaving your spirit renewed and uplifted.

Lisa will demonstrate poses and techniques while offering clear instructions, including modifications that cater to all skill levels, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the experience.

HOW TO PREPARE: 

TIME: Class starts at 9:00 am – check-in opens at 8:30 am.  Duration 90 minutes

Give extra time for travel, parking, and walking up to the museum.

BYO: Yoga mat, any props, a large towel, a bottle of water, and a bag to carry your items.

(*travelers can rent a yoga mat for $5 cash)

The Gift Shop Cafe opens at 11:00 am for additional needs.

LOCATION: 

*Classes take place regardless of the weather, whether it’s sunny or rainy. They are conducted on the paved surfaces and in the covered areas of either the Veranda or the Courtyard at the Bonnet Museum home, both of which provide breathtaking views of nature.

TICKET OPTIONS: 

$ 25 Members / $30 Non-Members: Includes Yoga class, cool-down aromatherapy refresher, inspirational note card, extra free time after class, and free private parking.

$45 Non-Members: Includes yoga class and a self-guided house and grounds tour. Spend the morning in tropical tranquility after class with a self-guided tour of the house and gardens, see the rotating exhibits in the Gallery, listen to sweet tour stories from staff and volunteers, sit by the garden fountain, the pond, or lake, walk through forest trails, and breathe in the peaceful views.

Space is very limited. Pre-registration is required to secure your spot. Class is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.

Popular Events Resuming In January

2021 was an interesting year, to say the least. From our fantastic after-hours events to our artistic workshops, Bonnet House has continued to offer joyful and educational experiences to countless guests throughout the past year. But while we love reflecting on the success of the last year, we are eagerly looking forward to the variety of fun and exciting events we have coming in 2022.

This January, Bonnet House is excited to resume our popular Concerts Under The Stars series, featuring a variety of talented local performing artists. Here, sweet music, balmy starlit nights, and the setting of Bonnet House will combine for a truly unique experience. This extremely popular event series will begin on Thursday, January 27th, 2022, and will continue on the second Thursday of each month. Each event will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and will include wine and cheese outside on our lovely tent-covered veranda.

Additionally, in January, Bonnet House will be resuming our Upstairs/Downstairs tours. Visitors will participate in a VIP experience of the upstairs and downstairs of the main house and take a sneak peek inside normally-closed areas of Evelyn and Frederic Bartlett’s private living quarters. These tours are offered on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday of each month January through April from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Live Music In Fort Lauderdale: Concert Under The Stars Series

Here in Fort Lauderdale, we are fortunate enough to have an abundance of talented performers throughout the community. Due to our culturally-rich history in Fort Lauderdale, a variety of musical stylings can be heard around every corner, including here at Bonnet House! In fact, to kick off the new year, Bonnet House is excited to host our annual Concert Under The Stars series, featuring a diverse array of musical performances.

This magical outdoor concert series will begin on Thursday, January 23rd from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Guests who are 18+ will have the opportunity to enjoy live performances at the beautiful Bonnet House Estate on our tent-covered veranda. We will even be featuring signature cocktails at the bar, as well as a selection of fine wine and cheese. Each night in the series will include a musical concert by a different performer or band from right here in Fort Lauderdale.

The series will begin on January 23rd with the Michael Masci Quartet with Danny Bacher . They will be performing popular selections from The Great American Songbook starting at 7:00pm. On February 13th, Bonnet House will welcome students from the University of Miami Frost Opera Theater . Their performances will reflect the broad range of programming in the twenty-first century, including Baroque opera, as well as some of the most progressive works of our time. This outdoor concert series will continue with two performances in March. The first will take place on March 12th with a performance by the Lynn University String Quartet . On March 26th, our series will conclude with the acoustic band, SOSOS . Their music is based around root instruments such as upright bass, pump organ, banjo, mandolin, djembe, acoustic guitars, drums, melodica, and even a box of rocks. Bonnet House Museum & Gardens kicks off its 18th season of the Young Artist Music on Thursday, January 23rd at 7pm with a performance by the University of Miami’s Frost Opera Theater. We are delighted to offer the Fort Lauderdale community what we consider to be the ‘best deal in town’. Wine, dessert and coffee are donated by Whole Foods Market this year and are included in the price.

The season continues on February 13th with Florida Atlantic University Latin Vocal Ensemble. On March 13th we have Lynn University String Quartet and for our fourth and final performance on April 10th we have Florida Grand Opera’s rising stars.

 Individual tickets range from $35 – $45 per performance and series tickets from $120 – $160, everyone can enjoy an evening under the stars like no other Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale graphic design honors class designs our posters each year with this year’s winner being Paul Tran.

 What started as community outreach has become one of our most treasured programs. We are looking forward to this very special 18th anniversary series.

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens kicks off its 17th season of the Young Artist Music on Thursday, January 24th at 7pm with a performance by the Lynn University Piano Trio. We are delighted to offer the Fort Lauderdale community what we consider to be the ‘best deal in town’. Wine, dessert and coffee are served to our guests and included in the price.

The season continues on February 21st with Florida Atlantic University performing a piano concert. On March 21st we have University of Miami’s Frost Opera Theater and for our fourth and final performance on April 11th we have Florida Grand Opera’s rising stars.
