Step into a tropical oasis, enveloped by the nurturing embrace of nature’s beauty, as you flow gently through a Yoga experience for all, harmonized with a symphony of global melodies.

In this serene journey, yoga postures gracefully intertwine through a sequence of movements, enhancing your flexibility and mobility while centering your breath in harmony with motion. This sacred practice cultivates stability, strength, coordination, balance, observation, and awareness, inviting a profound connection with the natural world.

The experience culminates in a guided relaxation, an aromatherapy refresher, and a soothing sound bath meditation with a healing instrument, leaving your spirit renewed and uplifted.

Lisa will demonstrate poses and techniques while offering clear instructions, including modifications that cater to all skill levels, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the experience.

HOW TO PREPARE

TIME: Class starts at 9:00 am – check-in opens at 8:30 am.  Duration 90 minutes

Give extra time for travel, parking, and walking up to the museum.

BYO: Yoga mat, any props, a large towel, a bottle of water, and a bag to carry your items.

The Gift Shop Cafe opens at 11:00 am for additional needs.

LOCATION: *Classes take place regardless of the weather, whether it’s sunny or rainy. They are conducted on the paved surfaces and in the covered areas of either the Veranda or the Courtyard at the Bonnet Museum home, both of which provide breathtaking views of nature.

TICKET OPTIONS: $ 25 Members / $30 Non-Members: Includes Yoga class, cool-down aromatherapy refresher, inspirational note card, extra free time after class, and free private parking.

$45 Non-Members: Includes yoga class and a self-guided house and grounds tour. Spend the morning in tropical tranquility after class with a self-guided tour of the house and gardens, see the rotating exhibits in the Gallery, listen to sweet tour stories from staff and volunteers, sit by the garden fountain, the pond, or lake, walk through forest trails, and breathe in the peaceful views.

  • Featuring special guests Erik Guru Lieux and Lisa Pumper, our resident teacher. ‍♀️

DETAILS:  Main Event: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
(Gate opens for check-in at 8:30 AM)

  •  Cacao Meditation Ceremony: A sacred cacao ceremony and elixir to open your heart and set the tone for the day.
  • ️ Somatic Release & Breathwork: Ground your energy with a few gentle movements and breathwork (suitable for everyone).
  •  Sound Healing Journey: Experience deep relaxation and meditative stillness with a live sound bath featuring soothing instruments and vibrational healing such as gongs, flutes, crystal sound bowls, and other healing tools.
  •  Silent Walk and Rejuvenating Forest Bath with Live Healing Flute.

Post Event: (11:15 AM onwards)
After the main festivities, take time to immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings.

  •  ZimSculpt Exhibit & Marketplace: Enjoy a unique outdoor art experience in harmony with nature, also featuring a vibrant market with art crafted from stone, crystal, and other natural materials.
  •  Visit the Bonnet House Gift Shop & Café for unique finds and light refreshments. ☕️

With Upgraded Tickets Purchased at the Museum Shop:

  •  Museum Home Tour: Get a glimpse into the creative space rich in history and inspiration. Immerse yourself fully with a self-guided tour of the house and gardens, explore rotating exhibits in the Gallery, and listen to delightful stories from staff and volunteers.
  •  Walk through nature trails and under canopies for more rejuvenating Forest Bathing; take a moment by the water or sit under a tree to journal or read. ✍️

*Allow extra time for travel and parking. Class takes place before Bonnet House opens to the public. If the main gate is closed, kindly ring the bell.

HOW TO PREPARE:

  • DRESS: Wear comfortable attire for sitting/lying down and suitable shoes for walking in nature.
  • BRING: A bag for your items, a water bottle, a beach towel, a blanket, or a yoga mat for sitting or lying on the veranda, under trees, or elsewhere after the event. Consider bringing a journal or a book if you plan to stay into the afternoon. ✨
  • Chairs will be available for those who prefer sitting during the Cacao ceremony. Yoga mat rentals will be available for $5 cash each for travelers.
  • ENTRANCE: Opens at 8:30 AM. The main entrance with private parking is located on the north/west side of the Bonnet House, accessible from Sunrise Blvd, on the southeast side of the bridge. Enter through the west gate on NE 9th Street.
    (Please allow extra travel time if the bridge is raised, for parking, and check-in. The event will start promptly at 9:00 AM.)
